Temporary bathroom trailer rentals for a day, a month or a year

Most people come to us with a date range, not a trailer size. A Saturday party and a six-month build both need clean rooms, but they need different units and very different service plans. This table shows how we usually set up each rental length around Los Angeles.

Rental lengthCommon reasonsWhat we often sendService plan
One dayBirthdays, memorials, open houses, school events2-station or 3-station unitStocked at delivery, picked up the next day
A weekendWeddings, festivals, tournaments, church events5-station or 9-station unitRestock and pump between days if needed
One to four weeksKitchen and bath remodels, plumbing repairs, film shoots2-station, 3-station or a combo unitPumping and restocking once or twice a week
One to six monthsConstruction, tenant improvements, plant shutdownsADA plus 2, ADA plus 6 or 8-station private unitWeekly or twice-weekly service, set by headcount
Six months or longerLarge builds, campus projects, long facility repairsSeveral matched units plus showers if neededFixed weekly route with a named service day

Plans change. Rentals are quoted for the dates you give us, and you are never locked into a guess. Extending is a phone call, and if the job wraps early, we schedule pickup for the next open slot.

Which portable restroom trailer fits a short stay or a long stay

For a one-day event, the question is how many guests will walk through in a few hours. For a long rental, the question is how many people use the unit every day, and how much waste the tank holds before the next pump. Bigger tanks mean fewer service visits.

Short stays: parties, events and weekend rentals

The compact 2-station luxury bathroom trailer in Los Angeles handles up to 150 guests and fits most driveways at 17 feet long with the tongue. A three-room model covers up to 225 guests, and the 5-station holds 150 to 450 people with a 520-gallon waste tank. For big crowds, the Southern California 9-station portable bathroom trailer serves 400 to 900 guests over a five-hour event.

Long stays: remodels, job sites and facility repairs

On long rentals we look at daily users first. The ADA plus 2 model is rated for job sites of about 30 workers and adds a unisex room with a self-contained ramp. The 8-station private bathroom trailer for long rentals has eight private unisex stalls, a 400-gallon fresh water tank and a 1,000-gallon waste tank, so it can go longer between visits than any other unit we rent. Need more rooms and a ramp in one unit? Look at the ADA plus 6 restroom trailer in LA County, with seven rooms including one ADA room.

When people also need to wash up after long shifts, we add temporary private shower trailer rentals near Los Angeles, including an 8-station unit that is CAL FIRE approved. Compare every size and floor plan on our page for deluxe bathroom trailer rentals in Southern California.

Common reasons to book a temporary restroom trailer in Los Angeles

Temporary rentals cover far more than parties. Here are the situations we see most often, with the setup that usually works for each one.

Home remodels and plumbing outages

A kitchen and two baths torn out at once can leave a house with no working toilet for weeks. A backed-up sewer line or a slab leak that forces a re-pipe can do the same. We place a 2-station unit in the driveway, which gives the family, and the trades working inside, a clean room with running water, heat and AC. It plugs into a standard outdoor outlet and carries its own fresh water and waste tanks, so it works even while the house plumbing is shut off.

Construction sites and tenant improvements

General contractors and property managers rent our units for new builds, store remodels and office build-outs where the existing restrooms are torn out or closed. Federal rules for sanitation on construction sites (OSHA 1926.51) set the number of toilets by headcount, and we size the units to match and add rooms as the headcount grows. On sites with visitors, inspectors or office staff walking through, a deluxe trailer looks far better than a row of plastic boxes.

Weddings, parties and weekend events

One-day and weekend rentals are the most common request we get, and the routine is simple: the unit arrives clean and stocked, our driver levels it and tests every sink, and we return for pickup after the last guest leaves. For ceremonies and receptions, see our Los Angeles wedding and special event restroom trailers.

Film, TV and commercial shoots

Productions in Hollywood, Burbank and on location around the county often book a unit for a single shoot day or a full season. We stage and place trailers on studio lots, in basecamps and on permitted street parking, and we can relocate a unit when the company moves. Call times change, and so can our drop-off.

Plant shutdowns, offices and facility repairs

Refineries, warehouses and food plants bring in hundreds of contractors for a shutdown, often for two to six weeks of round-the-clock shifts. Office towers and schools rent units while a restroom core is renovated or a water main is repaired. Hospitals and clinics add an accessible model next to an entrance during construction. Our page on accessible ADA trailers for Los Angeles facilities covers the ramp sizes and room layouts.

Emergencies, fires and water outages

When a fire, flood or main break leaves a building or a neighborhood without plumbing, our 24/7 dispatch desk sends units right away. Our phones never close. Fire camps and shelters may also need showers, laundry and sleeping space, so we can send mobile laundry trailer rentals for fire camps and bunkhouse sleeper trailer rentals in Southern California from the same yard. Read more about emergency restroom trailer rentals for disaster relief in LA.

A good place to start is the federal guide to business emergency planning on Ready.gov. When the plan calls for sanitation, our units can cover it fast.

Pumping, cleaning and restocking on temporary rentals

A short rental leaves our yard washed, sanitized and fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and soap. For a one-day party, that supply is plenty. Longer rentals get a service plan we agree on before delivery. You know the service days up front.

  • Pumping. We service the waste tank with our own vacuum truck. A busy site may need service twice a week, and a small remodel may only need it every week or two.
  • Fresh water. We refill the fresh water tank on the same visit, so sinks and toilets keep working without a hose on site.
  • Cleaning. Floors, sinks, mirrors and toilets get wiped down and sanitized at every stop.
  • Restocking. Paper, soap and air freshener are topped off before the tech leaves.
  • Inspection. The tech checks the AC, heat, lights and locks, and fixes small issues on the spot.

The plan can change as the job changes: if a site jumps from 15 workers to 40, call and we will add another weekly visit or deliver a second unit. For galas, premieres and large public events, a uniformed attendant can stay on site to keep the rooms fresh the whole time.

Where a mobile bathroom trailer can sit during your rental

Tight sites are common in LA. Most units need a flat spot, a clear path for the truck and a power source within about 100 feet. Before delivery, we plan the drop with you, often from a few phone photos.

  • Driveways and side yards. The 2-station model is 17 feet long with the tongue and about 10 to 11 feet wide with the stairs out.
  • Parking lots and job sites. Larger units run up to 35 feet long, so we plan a straight pull-in and room for the service truck to reach the tank.
  • City streets. Placing a unit in the street usually needs a permit from the city. We can tell you which office handles it.
  • Dirt, gravel and slopes. Our drivers level each unit with blocks and jacks. Very soft ground may need plywood or a gravel pad.
  • No power on site. We bring a matched quiet generator and refuel it on the service schedule.

Small units run on one 20 amp, 120 volt circuit. The 9-station and the 8-station private model each need two of those circuits, while the 8-station shower needs one 50 amp, 220 volt circuit. Accessible units follow the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design for room size, grab bars and ramp slope.

Recent temporary bathroom rentals across Southern California

Six weeks of remodeling in Pasadena

A family in Pasadena gutted both bathrooms and the kitchen of a 1920s bungalow at the same time. A 2-station unit went in the side driveway on the first day of demolition. Our service tech came every Friday to pump, refill and restock, and the unit left the day the new toilets passed inspection.

A weekend water shutoff at an office tower

A Century City office building had to shut off its water for a weekend to replace a main riser. Security and the plumbing contractors still needed restrooms. We set a 5-station unit in the loading dock on Friday night and picked it up Monday morning before tenants arrived. Nobody upstairs noticed.

A three-week plant shutdown in the City of Industry

A manufacturing plant brought in more than 100 contractors for a three-week maintenance shutdown with shifts around the clock. We delivered an ADA plus 6 unit and an 8-station private model on day one, then added an 8-station shower trailer when the night shift started. Our team serviced them every other night so the day shift always walked into clean rooms.

We have been in the rental business for more than 30 years, and our customers include Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, eBay and Target, plus Caesars Palace and pro teams like the Golden State Warriors, Oakland A’s and Las Vegas Raiders. How a temporary luxury restroom rental works, from first call to pickup

  1. Share your dates and headcount. Call (818) 593-0069 or send the quote form with the address, start date, end date if you know it, and daily users.
  2. Get a unit and a service plan. We pick the size, set the pumping schedule and send a written quote.
  3. Delivery and setup. Our driver places and levels the unit, connects power, fills the fresh water tank and tests every fixture.
  4. Service on schedule. Multi-day rentals get pumping, fresh water, cleaning and restocking on the agreed days.
  5. Extend or end. Call to add time or move the pickup date, and our truck removes the unit and leaves the spot clean.

Questions about renting a temporary restroom trailer

Can I extend my rental after the unit arrives?

Yes. Call the office before your scheduled end date, and our dispatcher will move the pickup, keep the service visits going and update the written quote so the paperwork matches the new schedule.

What happens if my project finishes early?

Call us and we will schedule the pickup for the next available delivery slot, so you never have to wait for the original end date.

Can I move the trailer myself during the rental?

Please do not, because moving a unit with full tanks, deployed steps and live electrical connections takes trained drivers and the right equipment. Call our office and we will relocate it for you, often the same day.

Will the unit hold up through rain or a heat wave?

Yes. Each unit has its own air conditioning and heating, and our drivers set it level and stable on delivery. Long rentals also get inspected at every service visit, so a small problem is caught and repaired early.

Do I need to be there at pickup?

No, as long as the truck can reach the unit and any gate is unlocked. Our driver disconnects the power, secures the steps, closes up the unit and leaves the area clean.
