Why a combo? It puts a shower and a bathroom in one short trailer, so a small site gets both from one delivery and one service stop. Families living through a remodel use it, and fire stations, sports clubs, golf courses, film locations, glamping sites, retreats, small job sites and plenty more book it too. Call us with the address, the dates and how many people will use it each day, and we will quote it on the first call. Prefer it in writing? Send a quote request and we will reply with a price and a delivery time.

Excellent service. They told us when to expect them, arrived on time, and setup went smoothly. Very nice unit, and pickup was just as easy! It had AC, was well lit inside and out, and hooked up to our house water and electrical. We did not need their generator or water, which was an option.

Inside each private room of the 2-station combo shower trailer

Two doors, two rooms, and nobody shares a thing. Each room locks from the inside and has its own set of fold-down steps with a hand rail, so a guest never walks past someone else to reach a shower. The stall sits on one side of the room behind a curtain. Its shower head is metered for hot and cold water. Across from it you will find the toilet and a stainless sink under a framed mirror, which means a person can shower, dress, dry their hair and get ready for the day without ever leaving their own private room.

A small mechanical room sits between the two bathrooms, holding the water heater, the pump and the controls where nobody has to see them. Our service team reaches it through its own outside door, so a service visit never means walking through a room that someone is using.

  • Each room: 1 hot and cold shower, 1 white china toilet with a foot flush, 1 stainless steel sink
  • Comfort: 1 AC and heat unit with a smart touch digital thermostat, LED lights inside and out
  • Build: gel-coated fiberglass walls, ceiling and sub-floor that wipe clean, oversized mirrors with framed edges
  • Stocked before delivery: toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap, with more supplies for long rentals

Plan on a flat spot about 17 feet long and 12 feet wide once both sets of steps are down. A driveway, a side yard, a parking stall or a gravel pad will usually work, as long as our pickup truck has enough room to back the trailer in and turn around afterward. The single axle makes it easy to tuck behind a house or a building, and our driver levels it on site so the doors close and the shower drains right.

Power comes from two ordinary 20 amp, 120 volt outlets, each on its own dedicated breaker and within 100 feet of the trailer. No outlets available on site? We bring a generator and the fuel to run it.

How many showers one tank of water gives a mobile combo trailer

Few people ask “How many showers do we get from one tank?” before they book a temporary shower, and it is the question that matters most. The fresh tank holds 105 gallons and each shower head is metered to 1.5 gallons a minute. That works out to about 70 minutes of total shower time on a full tank, a little less once the sinks and toilets take their share. If six people take five minute showers, that uses about 45 gallons and leaves plenty for the rest of the day.

For heavier use there are two easy fixes. If you have a hose bib nearby, we can connect the trailer to it, which is how many homes run theirs. If not, we put the unit on a refill schedule. The 300 gallon waste tank is almost three times the fresh tank, so the trailer runs out of fresh water long before the waste side is full. We pump and refill it on whatever schedule matches your headcount.

  • A one-day event: a full tank with no hookup is usually enough for everyone who needs a shower
  • A family at home during a remodel: connect to the house water supply and plan a pump-out about once a week
  • A busy site with up to 20 people a day: a hose hookup or regular refills, plus scheduled pump-outs

Where a 2-station hot-water shower and bathroom trailer fits best

The combo is the right call when a site needs both showers and toilets but only for a handful of people at a time, while larger groups usually do better with a dedicated shower unit parked next to a separate bathroom trailer. For long stays with laundry, see the 4-station combo trailer with laundry in Southern California.

Home remodels, water damage and house fires

When the only bathroom in the house is torn out, a family can stay home instead of moving to a hotel. We park the unit in the driveway, connect it to the house water and power when they are available, and leave it as long as the contractor needs. Homes in the hills from Topanga to Altadena often have narrow driveways, and the short 17 foot length helps there.

Fire stations, first responders and emergency shelters

Stations under repair, strike team staging areas and small emergency shelters often need hot showers more than anything else, and one combo gives two people a hot shower and a private bathroom at the same time. We dispatch around the clock for these calls.

Golf courses, sports fields and clubs

Courses, youth fields and clubhouses under construction book the combo so players and staff can shower and change on site, and the trailer usually sits on a cart path or behind a maintenance shed where it does not take up a single row of parking.

Camps, glamping, retreats and long weekends

Mountain camps near Big Bear and Wrightwood, beach campgrounds in Ventura County and backyard family reunions are all good spots for the combo. Everyone gets a real hot shower and a real toilet, not a plastic stall. It can draw power from a generator when the site has none.

Small job sites, film locations and private events

A small team on a dusty site can clean up before the drive home. Location shoots get a private, heated place for talent to change and wash off makeup between scenes, and at a backyard party the showers can simply stay closed while the unit works as a deluxe two-room bathroom for your guests.

2-station combo trailer parked beside the open apparatus bay of a city fire station, The Lavatory Los Angeles

Suisun City Fire Department

The Suisun City Fire Department needed extra showers and bathrooms at the station. We parked combo #14 on the apron next to the apparatus bay, checked that the water ran hot, and left a set of keys with the station.

2-station combo trailer parked under the steel grandstand of a soccer stadium, The Lavatory Los Angeles

Bay FC and the NWSL championship in San Jose

Combo #40 worked two professional soccer jobs in San Jose during 2025. In the spring it was delivered to Bay FC’s building, and in November it moved to PayPal Park for the NWSL championship game, where we placed it directly under the steel grandstand.

2-station combo trailer with steps on a backyard lawn for a wedding anniversary party, The Lavatory Los Angeles

A 50th wedding anniversary in Orangevale

A family hosting a 50th anniversary party only needed bathrooms, not showers. We delivered combo #54 to the lawn beside the house, ran one extension cord, and connected the family’s own garden hose. The guests got two clean private bathrooms and stayed out of the house.

Need the same setup close to home? We deliver these units to backyards, fire stations, construction sites and sports fields across Los Angeles every week, usually on the same day you call. Our emergency shower and bathroom trailers in Los Angeles go out on the same 24/7 dispatch when a water line breaks or a fire closes a building.

We were extremely pleased and plan to hire them for all our future events. From scheduling to the accounting team to the day-of support, every step was smooth and professional. We used them for the grand opening of an apartment community in Riverside, and guests kept saying how clean, comfortable and upscale the rooms were. One guest said they were far too nice to be called porta potties!

Steps to rent a private combo shower trailer, from first call to pickup

  1. Call or request a quote. Call (818) 593-0069 any time, day or night, or send a quote request. Tell us the delivery address, the rental dates and how many people will shower each day.
  2. We plan the hookups. We ask about outlets, a hose bib and the ground, then decide on a generator, a water hookup or refills.
  3. Delivery and setup. We back it in, level it, set both stairs, plug in power, fill or connect the water and run the hot water in both rooms before we leave.
  4. Service and pickup. Short rentals are picked up when you are done. Longer ones get pump-outs, refills, cleaning and restocks on a set schedule.

The people who set up your unit work for The Lavatory Los Angeles, not a subcontractor, and they come from the largest luxury bathroom and shower trailer fleet in the West. That is a big reason companies like Google, BMW and Target and teams like the Golden State Warriors have trusted our network.

Combo, shower-only or bathroom-only: choosing a portable trailer size

Most people who call about the combo need one of four units. If nobody needs to shower, the 2-station bathroom trailer for parties in LA gives a women’s room and a men’s room for up to about 150 guests. If anyone needs a roll-in shower, the ADA combo trailer for Los Angeles County sites puts a toilet, sink and accessible shower behind a ramp. When 20 to 30 people live on site, the 4-station combo with showers, toilets and laundry cuts deliveries and service stops. Large groups that just need showers book the 8-station private shower trailer for big Southern California jobs.

  • 2-station combo: 2 private rooms, each with its own shower, toilet and sink, for up to 20 people a day or 150 event guests.
  • ADA combo: 1 accessible room with an ADA shower, seat and hand wand, grab bars, a toilet and a sink, reached by a ramp.
  • 4-station combo: 4 private baths plus a laundry room, for up to 30 people on site or 200 event guests.
  • 8-station shower: 8 private shower rooms for big groups, usually paired with a separate bathroom trailer.

Not sure yet? Call (818) 593-0069 with your expected headcount and rental dates, and we will recommend a size with you on the phone or send our recommendation in writing when you request a quote.

Workplace and accessibility rules a combo shower trailer can help you meet

California’s Title 8, Section 3366 on washing facilities requires washing facilities with running water at every place of employment, and where showers are required it calls for separate shower rooms with hot and cold water. A combo gives you two separate private rooms, each with a hot and cold shower and its own sink. Ask your safety lead what your site needs, then tell us the count.

Events and job sites that must serve people who use wheelchairs should check the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. The 2-station combo has stairs, so we pair it with our accessible combo whenever a guest or worker needs one.

Questions about renting a 2-station combo shower trailer

Do both rooms have hot water at the same time?

Yes. Each room has its own hot and cold water at the shower and the sink, so two people can comfortably shower at the same time.

Can we use it as a bathroom only, with the showers closed?

Yes, and many parties and small events do exactly that. The toilets and sinks work the same way whether or not anyone showers, and in bathroom-only use the unit comfortably serves up to about 150 guests.

Can it connect to our house water?

Often, yes. With a hose bib nearby we connect the fresh water line to it, so the showers have water all day. Without one, the 105 gallon tank and a refill schedule do the job.

What power does it need?

Two 20 amp, 120 volt circuits, each on its own breaker, within 100 feet of the trailer. If you do not have two free outlets, we bring a generator and fuel.

How long can I keep it?

As long as you need it. Home remodels, insurance repairs and station renovations often keep a combo for several weeks or months, and we include regular pump-outs, water refills, cleaning and restocking on a schedule we set together.

How fast can it get here?

Same-day delivery is normal across Los Angeles, and with our 24/7 dispatch we can often be there within 1 to 2 hours. Call (818) 593-0069 and we will give you a time.
