A+ BBB rated · 5-star Google reviews · Licensed and insured · Over 250 units, the largest fleet in the West · SAM.gov registered · 30+ years in rental · 24/7 dispatch

Trusted by Fortune 500 companies like Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, eBay and Target, by the Las Vegas Raiders, and by hospitals, school districts, studios and cities across Southern California.

Why The Lavatory Los Angeles Leads in ADA Trailer Rentals

  • The largest fleet in the West. Over 250 units means an accessible room is on the lot when you call, even on a busy holiday weekend in June.
  • Strictly luxury. Never plastic. Every accessible room has a flushing china toilet, grab bars, a real sink, lights, and its own AC and heat.
  • Ramps that set up right. Our drivers lower each unit on install so the ramp stays short, then lock in the rails and check the landing before they leave.
  • A direct fleet, not a reseller. We own every trailer, so there is no broker and no farmed-out job. We deliver, we service and we pick up with the same team that quoted you.
  • Same-day delivery and 24/7 dispatch. Units stay staged around Southern California, so a last-minute permit note or inspector request gets a fast answer.

Most of our calls start the same way: an event or job needs one accessible room, and the customer is not sure which unit fits. Call us and a real person will match the right accessible unit to your headcount, your ground and your dates in a few minutes. Prefer email? Request a quote and we send back every option side by side, usually within the hour. You can also call (818) 593-0069 to book a delivery window today.

★★★★★ Family reunion

“Five stars to The Lavatory Los Angeles! They gave our family reunion an excellent ADA bathroom rental. Our guests with limited mobility had an amazing time thanks to the accessible trailer. They really live up to their promise of comfort.”

Jump straight to a unit: the ADA plus 2 bathroom trailer rental in Los Angeles covers most events, and the Los Angeles ADA combo trailer with a roll-in shower is the smallest accessible unit we offer.

Four Wheelchair-Ready Trailer Rentals in Our Los Angeles Fleet

Each of these four units has its own fresh water tank, waste tank and climate control, which lets it work on almost any flat spot a truck can reach, even where there is no plumbing nearby. Two are bathroom units and two carry showers. We set all four on a self-contained ramp built to the California standard, and each one keeps the accessible room on the same level as the ramp landing.

ADA Plus 2 Bathroom Trailer

Three private rooms: one women’s, one men’s and one unisex accessible room off the ramp. Serves events up to 200 guests or job sites with up to 30 workers. Carries 210 gallons of fresh water and a 300 gallon waste tank, and needs two 20 amp, 120 volt circuits within 100 feet.

ADA Plus 6 Bathroom Trailer

Seven stations in one unit: four men’s, two women’s and one unisex accessible room. Built to both the federal and California ramp standards and sized for events and sites up to 300 guests. The 475 gallon waste tank stretches the time between service visits.

ADA Plus 2 Shower Trailer

Two standard private shower rooms plus one accessible shower room reached by an integrated ramp. A good fit for sites of about 50 users or fewer. Metered 1.5 GPM heads deliver hot and cold water from a 210 gallon tank.

ADA Combo Trailer

One large accessible room holds the toilet, the shower and the sink. The ADA china toilet has grab bars, and the shower has a fold-down seat with a hand wand. At 11 feet 4 inches tall with the AC unit, it is the lowest unit in the group, which helps on sites with low trees or wires.

Want floor plans and dimensions in one file? Download the ADA trailer rentals brochure for every unit we rent. Busy sites often add an accessible unit beside one of our larger luxury bathroom trailer rentals in Los Angeles County, so everyone on site has a clean room close by.

Picking the Right Accessible Trailer for Your Headcount

Three questions settle almost every order. How many people will use the trailer on the busiest day? Do they need showers or just toilets? How much flat ground is there for a ramp? Here is how those answers usually line up:

  • One person or one household: the ADA combo, which suits a home remodel or a small clinic well.
  • Up to 200 guests: the ADA plus 2 bathroom trailer. It covers most weddings, school events, office parties and job sites in a single unit.
  • Up to 300 guests: the ADA plus 6 bathroom trailer, with seven stations and one accessible room, so you need one delivery instead of two.
  • About 50 users who need to shower: the ADA plus 2 shower trailer, popular with fire camps, outreach days and long film shoots.
  • Larger crowds: pair any accessible unit with a 5-station or 9-station bathroom trailer. We set them side by side on one delivery.

Not sure? Most customers give us the address and a guest count and let us pick. We size the order from your site photos, we confirm the ramp landing, and we plan the smallest setup that still covers the peak hour. For showers, our accessible ADA plus 2 shower trailer in Southern California keeps two standard rooms open while the accessible room is in use.

Inside an Accessible Bathroom Trailer Room

An accessible room should feel like a well-kept hotel bathroom with extra space. Here is what you find when you roll up the ramp and open the door:

  • A wide door off a landing with handrails, set at the same height as the ramp
  • Grab bars beside and behind a white china toilet
  • An accessible sink with room for knees and a wheelchair underneath
  • Open floor space to turn a wheelchair around inside the room
  • A shower seat and handheld wand in the shower units
  • AC and heat on a thermostat, plus bright LED lights inside and out
  • Soap, paper towels and toilet paper stocked on delivery and on every service visit

Every unit gets a 120-point inspection before it leaves our yard, and the fleet is kept three years old or newer. Our record is 99.6% incident-free. When the trailer shows up in Torrance or Thousand Oaks, it looks just like the photos on this page.

How Renting an ADA Trailer in Los Angeles Works

  • 1. Call or send a quote request. Tell us the address, dates, headcount and how many people need the accessible room. We answer 24/7 at (818) 593-0069.
  • 2. We check the landing. A ramp needs a firm, flat path at its foot. Send a few photos and we mark the best spot before delivery day.
  • 3. Delivery and setup. Our driver levels and lowers the trailer, sets the ramp and rails, hooks up power and water, and tests every room.
  • 4. Service on your schedule. We pump waste, refill water and restock supplies as often as your crowd needs it.
  • 5. Pickup. Call when you are done. We fold the ramp, drain the tanks and leave the ground clean.

If your plans change, call us and we can add a unit, swap sizes or extend your rental dates on the same order without starting a new booking. Our team handles the heavy part, from the haul and the utility hookups to the final ramp inspection.

Where We Set Up Portable ADA Bathrooms Around Los Angeles

Los Angeles County has 88 cities and nearly 10 million people, and plenty of them use a wheelchair, a walker or a cane. Accessible rooms belong anywhere people gather or work. These are the jobs we see most, and there are many more.

Weddings, parties and private events

Garden weddings in Malibu, backyard parties in the San Fernando Valley and winery events in Temecula wine country all draw guests of every age. An accessible room lets grandparents and guests with limited mobility use the same nice bathroom as everyone else. See our wedding and special event trailers in Southern California for full event setups.

Hospitals, clinics and care homes

When a hospital wing, medical clinic or assisted living community remodels its bathrooms, patients, residents and visitors still need accessible rooms every day. We place our temporary units near the entrance, where they plug into standard power and keep services open for the length of the renovation.

Construction, public works and office sites

Metro rail work, school rebuilds and office park projects often host inspectors, visitors and permanent staff who need an accessible room on site. A single ADA plus 2 unit usually covers a mid-size project with capacity to spare, and it moves easily when the work zone shifts.

Schools, parks and city events

Graduations, farmers markets, park concerts and street fairs bring the whole community out, including visitors who depend on an accessible restroom to stay all day. Cities and school districts across LA County book accessible trailers so every visitor has a clean, comfortable place to go.

Planning a public event? Call (818) 593-0069 for an accessible room count, or ask for a quote on ADA units and we will price the whole setup.

Emergencies, shelters and fire camps

After a wildfire, a water main break or a power outage, shelters need accessible bathrooms and showers right away. We stage units around the region and deploy them the same day. Our emergency and disaster relief trailers in LA page covers full camp setups.

Film sets, homes and long-term stays

Production companies add an accessible room to base camp so cast members, visitors and staff with mobility needs have a private place close to set. Families often rent the ADA combo when a loved one returns home from the hospital and the house bathroom is too narrow for a wheelchair or walker.

Customer Stories: Accessible Trailers on the Job in Southern California

A family reunion with guests of every age

A family planned a big reunion on a private property with no bathrooms close to the yard. Several relatives used wheelchairs or walkers. We delivered an ADA plus 2 bathroom trailer, set the ramp on firm ground near the tables and stocked every room. The family told us the rooms were spacious, spotless and easy for everyone to use.

A long-term setup in Redondo Beach

A customer in Redondo Beach needed a shower and bathroom for one person for several months. We placed an ADA combo trailer on a parking pad, we set the ramp to the curb line, and we serviced it on a regular schedule. It stayed in place for the whole stay with no trips to a gym or a neighbor for a shower.

A wedding saved on short notice

A mother of the bride called after her original bathroom plan fell through days before the wedding. We dispatched trailers the same day, and we set everything up well before the guests arrived. Her review says it best: everyone was impressed.

Planning Ramp Space, Power and Water for a Mobile ADA Bathroom

A good setup starts with the ground. An accessible unit needs more room than a standard trailer because the ramp and landing stick out from the side. Check these points before delivery day:

  • Footprint: the ADA plus 2 bathroom and shower units run 25 feet long and 13 feet 6 inches wide with the ramp. The ADA plus 6 runs 31 feet long with the ramp in use. The ADA combo is 25 feet with the tongue.
  • Ground: pavement, packed gravel or firm grass works. The path from the parking area or event space to the foot of the ramp should be firm, level and clear.
  • Power: every unit on this page needs two 20 amp, 120 volt circuits within 100 feet. No power on site? We bring a generator.
  • Water and waste: hook up to a hose bib or use the onboard tank. Tanks range from 105 to 210 gallons of fresh water and 300 to 475 gallons of waste.
  • Access: a clear lane for a truck and trailer, with no low branches, tight gates or soft shoulders.

The rules for accessible toilet and shower rooms come from the federal ADA design standards, which you can read on the U.S. Access Board website. When single-user portable toilets are grouped at one spot, the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design call for 5 percent of the units in each cluster to be accessible and marked with the International Symbol of Accessibility. Most event plans round that up to at least one accessible room per cluster, which is exactly what an ADA plus 2 or ADA plus 6 unit adds.

California adds its own access rules on top of the federal standards. The state agency that writes them is the Division of the State Architect, and our ramps are built to the California standard. Your city, venue or event permit office has the final word on how many accessible rooms a site needs, and we are happy to talk through the numbers with them.

Need more than bathrooms? Our private shower trailer rentals across Southern California add standard shower rooms beside an accessible unit for fire camps, shelters and long shoots.

ADA Trailer Rental Questions We Hear Most in Los Angeles

How many accessible rooms does my event need?

It depends on the number of units and the rules for your site. A common starting point is at least one accessible room for every cluster of portable bathrooms. Tell us your headcount and we will suggest a setup, and your permit office can confirm it.

How long is the ramp, and how much space does it take?

Plan for about 25 feet of length and 13 feet 6 inches of width for the ADA plus 2 units, and 31 feet of length for the ADA plus 6. We lower the trailer during setup so the ramp stays as short as it can.

Can a person in a wheelchair turn around inside the room?

Yes. Every accessible room is designed with open floor space for turning, grab bars positioned beside and behind the toilet, and a sink with clearance underneath for a wheelchair.

Do you rent an accessible trailer with a shower?

Yes. The ADA plus 2 shower trailer has one accessible shower room and two standard ones, and the ADA combo puts a shower, toilet and sink in one large accessible room.

Can I rent an ADA trailer for a home?

Yes. Families often book the ADA combo while a bathroom is remodeled or when someone comes home from the hospital. It parks in a driveway and plugs into two standard 20 amp circuits.

How fast can you deliver?

We offer same-day delivery and 24/7 dispatch from units staged around Southern California. In much of LA County we can often be there within 1 to 2 hours of your call.

Who cleans and restocks the trailer?

We do. We service every unit on a schedule that matches your crowd, pumping the waste tank, refilling the water and restocking supplies, and we can place an attendant at larger events.
