The Lavatory Los Angeles is the #1 rated private shower trailer company in Los Angeles, and this wheelchair-ready unit puts three hot showers in one compact trailer. Two standard private shower rooms sit behind their own stepped doors, and a third, larger accessible shower room opens off a platform and ramp with rails on both sides. Film sets, fire camps, job sites, shelters, races, retreats, family events and more use it when everyone on site needs a hot shower. We deliver across LA County, Orange County, Ventura County and the Inland Empire. Call us any hour: same-day delivery is the norm, and we can often be there within 1 to 2 hours. “They are always available and professional. Our site was out in the middle of nowhere, and they still showed up with the shower trailer on time and were so friendly about it. Would recommend to anyone.”

What sets this accessible shower trailer apart
Look at the floor plan and you see three separate rooms packed into a box under 15 feet long, with rooms two and three set up as the standard private showers. Each one has a 32 inch shower stall and a corner sink. Its 26 inch door opens onto folding steps with a rail. Room one is the accessible shower room. It has a 60 inch roll-in shower, its own sink with open space below, and a 36 inch door that opens onto a 5 by 6 foot platform.
A 4 by 8 foot ramp runs from that platform to the ground, with rails on both sides. The ramp ships with the trailer and folds out on site, built to the California standard, so we never need to haul in a separate ramp. All three doors face the same side, which keeps the steps, the ramp and the people using them in one easy-to-watch area.

One thing to know before you book: this trailer is all showers, so there is no toilet inside any of the three rooms. Most sites set it next to our ADA plus 2 bathroom trailer rental in Southern California, which matches the same ramp and platform design, so the whole setup stays wheelchair friendly from one end to the other.
Inside each private shower room
The accessible room is the one people ask about most. The roll-in shower has a low curb and room to turn a wheelchair, plus a shower bench, grab bars and a hand shower on a slide bar that adjusts for a seated or standing user. The wall-hung sink leaves knee space underneath for a wheelchair.

The two standard rooms are compact but finished like a hotel bath. Each has a stainless steel sink on a dark counter, an oversized framed mirror, a shelf for towels, soap and shampoo. Walls, ceiling and sub-floor are one-piece gel-coated fiberglass, which our attendants can wipe down in minutes between users.
- Hot and cold water controls in every room, with metered 1.5 gallon per minute shower heads
- One AC and heat unit run by a smart touch digital thermostat
- Interior and exterior LED lights for early starts and late finishes
- Oversized mirrors with decorative frames and stainless steel sinks
- Stocked with soap and paper towels before every delivery

How many people one portable shower trailer serves
We rate this unit for temporary sites of about 50 users or fewer, although that number moves with your schedule and with how many people need a shower at the same moment. Fifty people showering over a whole evening is easy, while fifty people who all come off a fire line or a night shoot together will form a line, so our dispatchers look at timing as closely as headcount.
Water is the other limit. At 1.5 gallons a minute, a full 210 gallon tank gives roughly 140 minutes of running shower water. Longer jobs get a set refill and pumping schedule, and our team handles both.
- Up to about 50 users: one ADA plus 2 covers it, with an accessible room ready for anyone who needs it.
- 50 to 100 users, or tight shift changes: add the 8-station unit, which puts eight private shower rooms on one trailer.
- Guests who need a toilet and shower in the same room: the ADA combo keeps everything in one large accessible space.
- Camps and long stays: pair the showers with laundry and sleeper trailers so people can live on site.
Bigger camps often start with the eight-room portable shower trailer for LA job sites and add this unit for accessible showers. Our guide to ADA trailers across Los Angeles County covers every unit we rent with a ramp, and the full Los Angeles private shower trailer rentals lineup shows every shower size side by side.

Where our temporary shower trailers with a ramp go
The small size gets this unit into places a big shower trailer cannot reach: a studio lot, a driveway, a park path or a fire station apron. Some of the jobs it does:
- Film and TV base camps for cast and crew after long, dusty days on location.
- Fire camps, evacuation shelters and emergency response when people are away from home for days.
- Construction, refinery turnarounds and plant shutdowns where workers clean up before driving home.
- Hospitals, clinics and care homes during a remodel, a water outage or a plumbing repair.
- Races, triathlons, beach events and sports tournaments along the coast and inland.
- Retreats, youth camps, family reunions and outreach events where guests of every age and ability attend.

When the call comes from a shelter or a fire camp, our emergency and disaster relief trailer rentals in Southern California team can usually load a unit the same day. Long stays out in the field often add a mobile laundry trailer from our Los Angeles yard next to the showers.

Reviews from customers who rented our deluxe shower trailers
These come from event producers, families, venues and site managers who rented from our network. The same things come up again and again: clean rooms, on-time drivers and staff who stay until the setup is right.

“I have been in the event industry for over 40 years and have rented a lot of equipment, shower and restroom units included. I have never found units that were better cared for or better sanitized. They always ask what I need, and when they deliver they never leave until they know I am happy. If you want a company that puts quality first, call The Lavatory Los Angeles.”

“Everyone I talked to was professional and courteous. The driver arrived a little early and sent me a photo of where he had parked the trailer. When I got there we agreed the ground sloped too much, so he patiently moved it again to a spot that worked best for us. Excellent service. I recommend this vendor.”

“I am so impressed with the quality of The Lavatory Los Angeles. The rooms were clean and well made. I have been in their trailers more than once, and I appreciate the little touches, like the rugs and the artwork on the wall. I would highly recommend their services.”

“I got married in October and had an emergency with the facilities at our venue. The Lavatory Los Angeles came through at the last minute and brought a generator for power too. My husband and I cannot thank them enough. Everything was super nice and clean, and I will recommend them to anyone.”

“I love the quality of the trailer and the professionalism of the staff. They set up the shower trailer on time and took care of everything for us. Thanks!”

“This company is excellent! Helpful and responsive staff, and beautiful, clean facilities. Great to work with. We will use them for all of our shower and bathroom needs going forward.”

The same fleet serves some big names. Our customers include Google, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, eBay, Target and Caesars Palace, plus pro teams like the Golden State Warriors, the Las Vegas Raiders and the Oakland A’s. A studio shoot and a backyard family reunion get the same trailer and the same cleaning checklist.
Recent jobs for the wheelchair-friendly shower trailer
Fairgrounds showers for an overnight event
A county fairgrounds booked unit 52 for guests staying on the grounds overnight. Our driver set it under a covered pavilion, with the ramp facing the walkway and the stepped doors toward the parking area. His note back to dispatch after testing it said it all: “Water gets hot. Great water pressure.”

A production yard beside a warehouse
A production company needed showers for crew members working long builds in a warehouse yard. We parked the trailer against the building and set the platform toward the work area, close to where people finished their shifts. The accessible room turned out to be the favorite, since it is the biggest room on the trailer.
An early start at a beachside lot
An event team staging in a beachside parking lot wanted showers ready before sunrise. We delivered the evening before, leveled the trailer and tested the hot water. Staff arrived to lights on and warm water, with the ramp already out for a team member who uses a wheelchair.

How to rent a private shower trailer with a ramp
- Call or send a quote request. Tell us the address, dates, number of users and whether anyone needs the accessible room. A dispatcher answers 24/7 at (818) 593-0069.
- Send a photo of the spot. We check the slope, truck access and overhead clearance, and plan which way the ramp should face.
- Delivery and setup. The driver levels the trailer, unfolds the platform and ramp, sets the steps, plugs in and runs hot water in every room.
- Service while you have it. Multi-day rentals get a refill, pumping and restock schedule, and an attendant can be added for busy days.
- Pickup. We fold the ramp, hitch up and leave the spot clean.

Power, water and level ground for the shower trailer ramp
The trailer needs two dedicated 20 amp, 120 volt circuits within 100 feet, and two separate breakers in a garage, a building panel or an event power board will usually do the job. No outlets nearby? Ask for a quiet generator and we bring one sized for the water heater and the AC.
Level ground matters more here than on a trailer with steps alone, since the ramp has to meet the ground at a gentle angle. Paved lots and firm, flat grass work best, and on a slope our driver will reposition the trailer until the ramp sits right, just as one of the reviews above describes.
The roll-in shower, grab bars and clear floor space follow the design rules for accessible bathing rooms in the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. On work sites, California sets out when employers must provide showers in Cal/OSHA Title 8, Section 3366. Hot weather is another reason crews and guests want to rinse off and cool down, and the National Weather Service heat safety page explains why cooling off matters during long outdoor days.

Questions about the accessible portable shower trailer
Does the ADA plus 2 have a toilet?
No. All three rooms are showers with sinks. For toilets, add a bathroom trailer next to it. The ADA plus 2 bathroom trailer uses the same ramp layout, so the pair works well together.
How long is the ramp, and does it come with the trailer?
Yes, it travels with the trailer. A 5 by 6 foot platform leads to a 4 by 8 foot ramp with rails on both sides. With the ramp out, the whole setup is about 25 feet long and 13 feet 6 inches wide.
Can someone shower from a seated position?
Yes. The accessible room has a roll-in shower with a low curb, a shower bench, grab bars and a hand shower on a slide bar.
Do I need a water hookup?
No hookup is needed to get started. The trailer carries 210 gallons of fresh water and a 300 gallon waste tank. On longer rentals we schedule refills and pumping.
Can I rent it for a single day?
Yes. One-day events, weekends, weeks and months are all common. Longer rentals come with a regular service schedule.
How fast can you deliver?
Our dispatch desk runs 24/7, and same-day delivery is common across the LA area. In many cases a truck can reach you within 1 to 2 hours of your call.
