Why The Lavatory Los Angeles Is the Top Choice for Luxury Shower Trailer Rentals in LA
- Largest fleet in the West. With over 250 trailers in the fleet, a rush order in July or a second unit halfway through a job is a quick phone call instead of a long wait.
- Strictly luxury. Never plastic. Every room is a real fiberglass shower with hot and cold water, a mirror, bright lighting and its own climate control.
- We own every trailer. We are a direct fleet, not a reseller, so there is no broker markup and no farmed-out job, because the team that quotes you is the same team that delivers, services and picks up.
- Same-day delivery and 24/7 dispatch. We keep units staged across Southern California for rapid same-day deployment, day or night.
Call or request a quote and you talk to a real person who knows every trailer in the fleet, not a call center reading a script. Tell us the headcount. Give us the address and the dates, and we match the unit, confirm power and water, and set a delivery window on the same call. Most quotes go out within the hour. Call (818) 593-0069 or send a quote request and we will price every option side by side.

Five Private Shower Trailer Rentals in Our Los Angeles Fleet
Every unit below is a self-contained trailer with its own fresh water tank, waste tank, water heater and AC unit, so it can work almost anywhere a truck can park it. The 1.5 GPM metered shower heads give steady hot water while stretching every gallon on board. Pick the room count first. Then decide if you want toilets, an accessible room or a laundry room built in, and call us to quote any of them.
8-Station Private Shower Trailer
Eight private cabins plus four outside sinks under a shade cover. Serves up to 200 people, carries a 950 gallon waste tank and two AC units, and is CAL FIRE approved. Needs one 50 amp, 220 volt circuit within 100 feet.
ADA Plus 2 Shower Trailer
Two standard private shower rooms and one accessible shower room reached by an integrated ramp built to the California standard. Best for sites of about 50 users or fewer. Needs two 20 amp, 120 volt circuits.
2-Station Combo Trailer
Two private bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink and shower. Handles events up to 150 guests or about 20 people on a work site. The smallest footprint in the shower line at 17 feet with the tongue.
4-Station Combo Trailer
Four private baths with a toilet, sink, shower and outlet in each, plus a separate laundry room with a stacked Samsung washer and dryer. Serves up to 200 guests or 30 people living on site.
ADA Combo Trailer
One accessible room with a china toilet and grab bars, a roll-in shower with a seat and hand wand, and an accessible sink. A good single unit for a home, a clinic or an add-on beside a larger trailer.
Not Sure Which One?
Most customers call with a headcount and an address, and we pick the unit from there. Call (818) 593-0069 and you will have a recommendation and a quote before you hang up.
Want the specs on paper? Download the shower and bathroom trailer brochure with floor plans and dimensions for every unit.
For the biggest headcounts, our 8-station shower trailer rentals in Los Angeles are the largest units in the fleet. When a guest, worker or patient needs a wheelchair-ready room, the ADA plus 2 private shower trailer for Southern California sites covers it without a second trailer.
Which Portable Shower Trailer Fits Your Site? A Quick Sizing Guide
Start with two numbers. How many people shower each day, and how many of them shower in the same peak hour after a shift ends or a festival closes for the night? Most people take 8 to 12 minutes in a room, which puts one private room at roughly 5 to 7 showers an hour at the busiest time. Work sites often plan around one shower for every 10 workers who shower on the same shift, a ratio we cover in the site planning section below.
- 1 to 10 people a day: the ADA combo or the 2-station combo, which suit small jobs like a home remodel or a family weekend.
- 10 to 50 people a day: the ADA plus 2 private shower trailer or the 2-station combo. Covers weddings, retreats, small fire crews and most short shoots.
- 20 to 30 people living on site: the 4-station combo, since toilets, showers and laundry in one trailer means a single delivery and a single service stop.
- 50 to 200 people a day: the 8-station shower trailer, which is where most festivals, base camps, emergency shelters and large construction projects begin.
- Over 200 people: two or more 8-station units side by side, often with a mobile laundry trailer and extra bathroom trailers.
Think about who else uses the site. If anyone needs an accessible room, plan at least one ADA shower from day one, since that is much easier than trying to fit a second unit onto a busy site later. For long stays, ask about pairing showers with our 4-station combo shower and laundry trailer in LA County, which puts a washer and dryer in the same footprint as the showers.
Smaller jobs usually start with a 2-station combo shower trailer rental for Los Angeles homes and events, the smallest footprint in our shower line. When one person needs a roll-in shower, our wheelchair-ready ADA combo trailer in Southern California puts the toilet, sink and shower in one accessible room.
What Every Hot-Water Shower Room Includes
A private room should feel like a decent hotel bathroom, not a campground stall. Every room in our fleet comes with these basics, whether the trailer sits on a studio lot in Burbank or a dirt pad in the high desert:
- A locking door on every private room, so each person showers alone
- Hot and cold water with a metered 1.5 GPM shower head
- Air conditioning and heat, controlled by a thermostat for comfortable temperatures in any season
- Bright interior and exterior LED lighting for early mornings and late nights
- A mirror, hooks, a bench or shelf, and a dry area to change
- Non-slip floors, plus sturdy rails on every set of steps
- Soap, towels and paper stocked on delivery, with restocks on your service schedule
Our trailers are inspected before every delivery on a 120-point checklist, and the fleet is kept young, with units three years old or newer. Our record is 99.6% incident-free. No surprises. When a deluxe trailer arrives in Pasadena or Palmdale it looks the same as the photos on this page, down to the clean mirrors and the stocked towel racks.
How Renting a Portable Shower Trailer in Los Angeles Works
- 1. Call or request a quote. Give us the address, dates, headcount and any accessible needs. We answer 24/7 at (818) 593-0069.
- 2. We size it and check the site. We confirm power, water, ground and access before delivery day, and photos or a simple site map from you make that step much faster.
- 3. Delivery and setup. Our driver levels the trailer, hooks up power and water, sets the steps or ramp and tests every room.
- 4. Service while you use it. We service the trailer on a schedule that fits your headcount, pumping waste, refilling water and restocking supplies.
- 5. Pickup. Call when you are done. We drain, disconnect and haul the trailer out, and leave the site clean.
Most first-time renters are surprised by how little they have to do. You point to the spot, and we handle the delivery, hookups, service and pickup from there. Plans change. When they do, call us and we can add units, swap sizes or extend the dates without starting a new order from scratch.

Where Our Temporary Shower Trailers Go in Los Angeles County and Beyond
LA County covers 88 cities and more than 4,000 square miles, from the beaches of the South Bay to the high desert around Lancaster, and our showers end up in all of it. The jobs we see most are listed below, and there are plenty more that do not fit a neat label.
Film and TV production base camps
Location shoots often mean long days far from a building with plumbing. A 2-station combo or ADA combo parked in base camp gives cast and staff a private place to clean up between setups or after a dusty day.
Wildfire camps, emergencies and shelters
When fire hits the San Gabriels, the Santa Monica Mountains or the Antelope Valley, crews and evacuees need showers fast. Our 8-station unit is CAL FIRE approved, and you can read how the state handles fire response at fire.ca.gov. See our emergency and disaster relief trailers for Los Angeles for full camp setups with toilets and laundry.
Construction, refineries and plant shutdowns
Refinery turnarounds in El Segundo, Carson and Wilmington, Metro rail work and hillside rebuilds all bring large workforces who need to wash off before driving home. Showers on site help. Workers leave cleaner, trucks stay cleaner, and the end of a hot shift goes faster.
Festivals, races and sports events
Multi-day music festivals, marathons, beach volleyball tournaments and endurance races all need showers for athletes, staff and campers who stay on the grounds. Two 8-station units side by side can handle a big weekend crowd.
Outreach and community hygiene days
Cities, churches and nonprofits use our portable showers for hygiene days and outreach events. A private room with hot water and a locking door makes a real difference for people who rarely get one.
Weddings, retreats and glamping
Ranch weddings, mountain retreats and glamping sites often have no showers at all. A deluxe combo trailer fixes that.
Schools, hospitals, hotels and gyms
When a locker room, dorm or hotel floor is under renovation, a temporary shower trailer keeps things open. Hospitals and clinics also add an accessible unit during remodels or surges.
Customer Stories: Mobile Shower Trailers at Work Around Southern California
A school campus that needed showers fast
A school needed private showers on campus for its students. We delivered a deluxe shower trailer, set the steps and rails, and tested every room before the first student walked up. The facilities coordinator told us the trailer was easy and safe for students to use from the first day.
A builder in the Inland Empire
DV Builders rented portable shower trailers for a long project and chose to manage them on their own instead of booking our service staff. The units came clean, worked the whole time and needed little attention. Their project manager said it was exactly as described.
A company retreat in the mountains
A business booked bathroom and shower trailers for a mountain retreat at a site with no plumbing at all. Our attendant cleaned every trailer each morning and checked that everything worked. The group has already asked about next year.
Add Laundry and Sleeping Space to Your Shower Setup
Long jobs need more than showers, because clean clothes and a real bed are what keep people rested and on schedule week after week. Our mobile laundry trailer rentals in the Los Angeles area put eight industrial washers and eight dryers in one trailer with a folding table and a large sink. For overnight stays, the 12-bunk unit on our bunkhouse sleeper trailer rentals page sleeps twelve with AC, heat, LED lights and USB outlets at every bunk.
Need more toilets than the showers include? Our luxury bathroom trailer rentals across Southern California range from two stations to nine, so one call covers the whole site.
Power, Water and Site Planning for Temporary Shower Trailers
Good planning keeps the water hot and the line short, so check these needs for each unit before our driver arrives:
- Power: the 8-station shower trailer needs one 50 amp, 220 volt circuit. The ADA plus 2 shower, 2-station combo and ADA combo each need two 20 amp, 120 volt circuits. The 4-station combo takes either. All within 100 feet. No power on site? We can bring a generator.
- Water: hook up to a standard hose bib, or we fill the onboard tank and top it off on service days. The 8-station unit carries 200 gallons, and the ADA plus 2 carries 210.
- Waste: tanks run from 300 gallons on the smaller units to 950 gallons on the 8-station. We pump on a schedule, or connect to a sewer line where the site allows it.
- Ground: a flat spot of pavement, gravel or firm dirt with room for the steps or ramp. The 8-station is 35 feet long with the tongue.
- Access: a clear path for a truck and trailer, with no low branches or tight gates.
On job sites where workers are required to shower, the federal sanitation standard asks for one shower for every 10 workers of each sex on the same shift. You can read the full text in 29 CFR 1910.141, and we size every work-site order with that ratio in mind.
Accessible rooms follow the shower rules in the federal ADA design standards, which you can read on the U.S. Access Board site. For the full lineup of wheelchair-ready units, visit our ADA trailers for Los Angeles County page.

Questions About Renting Private Shower Trailers in LA
How fast can you deliver a private shower trailer in Los Angeles?
We offer same-day delivery and 24/7 dispatch from units staged around Southern California, and in much of LA County we can often be there within 1 to 2 hours of your call.
Do the showers have hot water?
Yes. Every room has its own hot and cold water from an onboard water heater, and the 1.5 GPM metered head keeps the hot water going through a long line of back-to-back showers.
Can I rent a portable shower trailer for just one day?
Yes. We rent for a single day, a weekend, a month or longer, and we plan regular service visits into every long-term rental so the tanks never get close to full.
Do I need a permit to park a temporary shower trailer?
It depends on where the trailer sits. Streets, parks and some city lots may need one. We can share what we have seen at your address, and your city or the county has the final word.
Who cleans and services the trailer?
We do. We service every trailer on a set schedule, pumping waste, refilling water and restocking soap, towels and paper, and we can place an on-site attendant at events that need one.
What if I do not have power or water on site?
We bring a generator and fill the fresh water tank before the trailer leaves our yard, so a private shower trailer can work fully off grid on a remote ranch, beach lot or fire camp.
Can I get showers and toilets in the same trailer?
Yes. The 2-station combo, 4-station combo and ADA combo all include a toilet, sink and shower in each private room, which saves space on tight sites.
