“For my mom’s 60th birthday and retirement party we rented a small venue and found out it had one tiny bathroom for 250 guests. The Lavatory Los Angeles came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. Great customer service, and the trailer was spotless.”

“I was impressed with The Lavatory Los Angeles. We rented a luxury restroom for our outdoor wedding, and the trailer had every convenience you could want and was immaculate. Our guests could not stop praising it.”
Why one portable bathroom trailer with a ramp covers more people
Most sites that need an accessible bathroom also need regular bathrooms for everyone else. Renting a single accessible unit and a separate trailer means two deliveries, two power hookups and two spots to level. The ADA plus 2 puts all three rooms in one 14 foot 7 inch box, which keeps the footprint small and the line short. One trailer. One hookup.
Each room has its own outside door. Guests who use the ramp never wait behind the women’s line, and the large ADA room also works for parents with small kids, older relatives who want grab bars, and anyone who needs more space. For gatherings above 200 people, or for weeks of heavy use, step up to the ADA plus 6 bathroom trailer for crowds over 200, which adds four more stations to the same accessible room.
Inside the three rooms of our luxury ADA plus 2 trailer
Open the ramp-side door and you are in the ADA unisex room. It has grab bars beside and behind the toilet, a low sink, framed mirrors and a wide, open floor so a wheelchair can turn around. The women’s room has a toilet and a vanity sink. The men’s room adds a urinal next to the toilet and sink. Every door locks.
Every room gets the same finish work as our larger trailers. White china toilets flush with a foot pedal. Stainless steel sinks run hot and cold water under oversized mirrors with decorative frames. Smooth gel-coated fiberglass covers the walls, ceiling and sub-floor, so our crews can wipe a room clean in minutes. A smart touch digital thermostat controls the AC and heat, and LED lights brighten the rooms inside and the path outside after dark.
We stock each trailer before it leaves the yard with soft paper, hand soap, paper towels and a light scent. On longer rentals we service the unit on a set schedule, pumping the tank and restocking every room, so you never have to think about it.
Ramp, landing and trailer specs at a glance
The numbers below come from our spec sheet. The ramp and the 5 by 6 foot landing are self-contained, and we lower the trailer during setup, so the ramp is shorter and the slope stays gentle.
- Rooms: one women’s room, one men’s room and one ADA unisex room
- Guest count: events up to 200 guests, or job sites with up to 30 workers
- Accessibility: self-contained ramp and landing that meet federal and California ADA rules
- Box size: 8′ 4″ wide by 14′ 7″ long
- Length with the ramp in use: 25 feet
- Width with the ramp in use: 13′ 6″
- Height with the AC unit: 12′ 6″
- Fresh water: 210 gallons on board, in two 105 gallon tanks
- Waste tank: 300 gallons
- Climate: one AC unit with heat
- Power: two dedicated 20 amp, 120 volt circuits within 100 feet
The floor plan shows the layout. The women’s and men’s rooms sit at the hitch end, each with its own steps. Next comes the mechanical room that holds the water tanks. At the far end, the ADA room opens onto the landing.

Three recent jobs for our accessible bathroom trailer
A warehouse in Lynwood that stayed open for months
An industrial gas supplier in Lynwood needed bathrooms while its building’s plumbing was redone. We set an ADA plus 2 beside the loading docks on a long-term rental and pumped and restocked it on a weekly schedule. Drivers, office staff and visitors all used the same trailer, and the ramp room gave the site an accessible option the whole time. The doors never closed.
A solar project in the high desert near Mojave
A renewable energy builder working north of Lancaster had no water lines and no power on the parcel. We filled the 210 gallon tanks, ran the trailer off a generator and leveled it on packed dirt. With up to 30 workers on a shift, one unit covered the crew and the site inspectors who visited. No lines, no long walks.
A children’s hospital benefit on a campus lawn
A hospital foundation hosted a family day on its front lawn. We paired an ADA plus 2 with a larger unit, set both on the grass next to the walkway, and placed an attendant on site for the afternoon. Families with small kids and guests in wheelchairs used the ramp room without waiting in the main line. It worked.
How booking a temporary bathroom trailer with a ramp works
- Call or request a quote. Share the address, dates, headcount and whether there is power nearby. We answer 24/7 at (818) 593-0069.
- We check the spot. Text a photo of the drop area. We confirm there is about 25 feet of length and 13 and a half feet of width for the trailer and ramp.
- Delivery and setup. Our driver lowers and levels the trailer, sets the ramp, landing, steps and rails, connects power and tests water, lights and AC.
- Service and pickup. Multi-day rentals get pumping, cleaning and restocking on a set schedule. We haul the trailer away when you are done.

Planning the drop spot, power and ramp space
The ADA plus 2 needs two dedicated 20 amp, 120 volt circuits within 100 feet. Two separate garage or exterior outlets on different breakers usually work. If the site has no power, we bring a quiet generator and we size it for the AC and lights. Water is on board, and the waste tank holds everything until we pump it.
Pick a spot that is close to level and firm. Pavement works. Packed dirt, gravel and short grass are fine too. The ramp needs a clear, flat path at its base, so keep tables, cords and planters out of that space. Street placement in the City of Los Angeles can need a temporary permit, so ask us and we will tell you what your block requires.
Many public events and job sites have to provide accessible toilets. The U.S. Access Board guide to the ADA Standards explains what an accessible toilet room needs, and ADA.gov from the U.S. Department of Justice covers how the law applies to events and businesses. Projects for schools and state buildings in California also follow the California Division of the State Architect, which reviews accessibility plans. We set up every unit to match those rules and can walk your permit office through it.
Comparing the ADA plus 2 with our other bathroom trailer sizes
We size every order by headcount and hours, and each size fits a different crowd. For a smaller dinner with no ramp needed, the compact 2-station bathroom trailer in LA County fits most driveways and serves up to about 150 guests. Parties of 100 to 225 often book a 3-station and add an accessible unit. Large gatherings with a big guest list use the ADA plus 6. Need showers too? The ADA plus 2 shower trailer for Los Angeles sites keeps the same ramp layout with two standard shower rooms and one accessible shower. You can also compare every accessible unit on our page of ADA trailers across Southern California, or browse all luxury bathroom trailer rentals in Los Angeles.
- Up to about 150 guests, no ramp needed: the 2-station.
- Up to 200 guests with an accessible room: the ADA plus 2.
- Bigger crowds that need a ramp: the ADA plus 6, or an ADA plus 2 paired with a 5-station or 9-station.
- Long-term sites: any size on a weekly service plan.

Questions about renting the accessible 3-room bathroom trailer
Can people who do not use a wheelchair use the ADA room?
Yes. The ADA unisex room is open to anyone. It is popular with parents changing a toddler, guests who want grab bars and people who just like the extra space.
Does the ramp come with hand rails?
Yes. The ramp, the 5 by 6 foot landing and the hand rails all travel with the trailer, and our driver sets them up and checks them before leaving.
How many trailers do I need for 300 guests?
One ADA plus 2 covers up to 200 guests. For 300, most customers add a 3-station or 5-station, or switch to a single ADA plus 6. Call and we will plan it around your hours and your menu.
Can the mobile trailer run on a generator?
Yes. If the site has no outlets, we bring a quiet generator sized for the AC and lights and keep it fueled on multi-day rentals.
Is the ADA plus 2 heated for cool nights?
Yes. The same unit cools the rooms on hot afternoons and switches to heat after dark from a digital thermostat inside.
How soon can you deliver?
We offer same-day delivery and 24/7 dispatch. In much of LA County we can often be there within 1 to 2 hours of your call when a unit is open.
